# Four things we will never do.

How this company takes money, in four sentences. Pinned by the build.

## Why it is written down

Every question about a spend meter ends in one place: who pays you, and what do they need the number to say.

The answer is four positions about money and ownership, published where they can be quoted back at us. A structure can be checked; an intention cannot.

## The four commitments

1. 01Who pays us

   ### We take no money from a party we rate.

   No provider, model vendor, or marketplace pays us for placement, referral, revenue share, or anything else, and none ever will. A meter paid by the thing it measures has its answer before it starts measuring.
2. 02The money

   ### We are never in the flow of funds.

   You hold your own provider keys and your provider bills you directly. Your inference spend never passes through our accounts, so there is no margin for us to make on the number we report, and none for us to lose by reporting it accurately.
3. 03The fee

   ### Our fee is flat, never a percentage of your spend.

   Every price we publish is a fixed subscription or a fixed fee, disclosed before you buy. A fee that moves with your bill is a fee that quietly prefers a bigger bill; ours cannot want anything at all about your traffic.
4. 04The ownership

   ### We will not raise outside capital, so nobody can ever make us defect.

   The first three are only as durable as the ownership behind them. Recovea is funded by what customers pay it, and there is no outside investor who could one day need a larger outcome than the truth.
