Pricing, simplified

Free protects up to $2,500 a month of AI spend, in total, per organization; Team, Growth and Scale protect up to $10,000, $25,000 and $75,000.

Recovea's plans are now five: Free, Team, Growth, Scale and Enterprise. Team, Growth and Scale are each one flat price, monthly or yearly, for a band of AI spend, and seats are unlimited on every plan. The product has run this ladder end to end since 2026-10-13.

Recovea is AI spend control: it meters, caps and receipts a company's AI spend from beside their app; the number is one they can re-derive. A receipt is the record of one priced request, chained to the receipt before it.

The five plans

  • Free, $0. For one person's project. Protects up to $2,500 a month of AI spend, in total, per organization, with no card and nothing to cancel.
  • Team, $199 a month or $1,910 a year. For a team sharing one AI bill. Protects up to $10,000 a month.
  • Growth, $499 a month or $4,790 a year. For an organization whose finance team checks the numbers. Protects up to $25,000 a month.
  • Scale, $999 a month or $9,590 a year. For an organization whose product runs on AI. Protects up to $75,000 a month.
  • Enterprise, custom. For teams routing beyond the published bands. We scope it with you first.

Team, Growth and Scale each carry a 14-day free trial, card required, except a plan started from your Assessment, since your Baseline week was the trial. Bands are measured, never charged today: crossing one is shown, never billed.

The paid plan that sat between Free and Team is retired, and no subscription remains on it. Free now protects the $2,500 a month that plan sold, with no card.

What a cap protects

A cap is an amount on a scope over a window: your organization or one API key, over a day, a week, a month, a year or the cap's lifetime. A cap is armed when its hard stop is on; a cap that is not armed counts spend and refuses nothing.

An armed cap refuses the request before it reaches your provider, and answers 402: no provider call, no token and no cost. It refuses the next request, not the ones already running: the request that crosses the line finishes, so a total can end above its cap by about the cost of the requests in flight.

On Team, Growth and Scale, armed caps hold across the whole band. On Free, the ceiling is one monthly total of the organization's routed spend, never a limit on each cap.

A cap bounds what routes through the gateway, at either scope. A provider key used directly never enters the path.

Designed to fail open: if the gateway degrades, traffic goes straight to your provider. The only stops are a cap you armed and a kill switch you turned on.

When Free reaches its ceiling

Below the ceiling, an armed cap refuses at its line and names the ceiling: "On the Free plan, spending is protected to $2,500 a month in total, per organization." Once the organization's spend in the month reaches it, the caps go on counting and refuse nothing until the month turns, at 00:00 UTC on the 1st. Metering and receipts carry on, the dashboard keeps showing the month, and nothing is billed.

The kill switch, a stop on one API key or the whole organization with no amount and no window, has no ceiling. It refuses on every plan, Free above its ceiling included, as long as the gateway holds your organization's current keys and switches.

Where several Free organizations share one company domain, they share that $2,500 and each one's dashboard shows its share. That holds for up to five organizations founded on one domain since 2026-10-09; an address at a public mail provider counts on its own.

One organization per email

One email address founds one organization, when you enter the code we email at sign-up, and your projects live inside it. Signing up again with the same address signs you in. You join any other organization by invitation from one of its Owners or Admins, and the link works once, for seven days.

Where the numbers live

Every price and band here is on the pricing page, and the Terms of Service state the same rules in Sections 1.6, 1.7 and 5.1. The docs' Cap page shows how a cap answers on every plan.

Making the product match the page took two weeks, layer by layer, and we're glad it's done. Start free; Free is cardless. For a band beyond Scale, contact us.
