Done for you.
The AI Spend Assessment
One engagement, priced by your monthly AI spend, run on your own live traffic inside the product. You get a written report, ranked worst offender first, delivered to you: your dashboard stays live on the data behind it, and the engagement checklist tracks every step.
The button opens the assessment path in the platform: it asks your rough monthly AI spend, shows you the price for that band before anything is owed, and sets the engagement up on your own data.
One price list, on the same axis as everything else
Your assessment price follows your spend band -- the same axis the plans are priced on. Bigger estate, deeper and more formal work, published price.
| Your monthly AI spend | Assessment | Lines up with | Terms |
|---|---|---|---|
| Up to $2,500/mo | $499 | Developer band | Paid in the platform when you start |
| Up to $7,500/mo | $1,500 | Team band | Paid in the platform when you start |
| Up to $25,000/mo | $4,500 | Growth band | 50% deposit at booking, 50% at the readout |
| Above $25,000/mo | Quote | Scale and above | Larger estates: talk to us, scoped before anything is owed |
The fee is fixed and never contingent on what we find: our fee cannot want a particular answer. We publish the prices for the same reason: an assessor whose fee moves with the findings is being paid to find something. Be suspicious of one priced differently, including us.
What you get
The same deliverable shape at every size, deeper as the estate grows. All of it written, all of it yours to share.
Written and ranked, worst offender first
Every dollar attributed by application, project, model, and route, then a ranked list of what to do about it, worst offender first. Metered per request against a frozen reference price list that is cited in the report, not sampled from logs at month end. The findings are written by hand, not generated by a features tab: what the product gives you is the live dashboard the numbers come from. Content-free: we meter metadata, never your prompts.
A written document, delivered to you
The findings as a written report, delivered to you as a document you can forward, with the method and the assumptions behind every number stated in it, plus a perpetual license to use and share it internally and with your advisors. It stands on per-request metering, so it is checkable rather than a deck of estimates.
Receipts you can re-derive without us
A hash-chained receipts export, with the instructions to re-derive the chain offline in a few lines of code. The number in the report and the number in your ledger are the same number, and you can prove that yourself.
The engagement runs in the product
An engagement checklist on your dashboard shows exactly what happens next and checks items off as they complete, so nothing about the engagement lives only in somebody's inbox. At the $4,500 band it also carries the live readout call and the deposit and balance steps.
The assessment is the product, switched on
The engagement runs on the same observe-only gateway as the platform, on your own live traffic, from day one. When it ends the meter is already in place: keep it running, or turn it off and go back to a monthly bill you cannot break down. Either way the report stands on data you can re-derive yourself.
How it runs
One path, from the button on this page to the report in your hands. Every step runs in the platform, signed in, on your own data.
Tell us the size of the estate
The assessment path asks your rough monthly routed AI spend and shows you the price for that band. Above $25,000/mo it gathers the scoping detail instead -- estate, providers, goals, timeline -- and we come back with a quote before anything is owed.
Point one base_url at the gateway
Account setup, then the same one-line integration every customer does. Observe-only: nothing in your traffic, systems, or provider configuration is changed by the engagement, and if the gateway degrades your requests go straight to the provider.
Your traffic fills the meter
Live requests accumulate as receipts while you watch the dashboard fill. Payment is taken in the platform through Stripe -- the same checkout the plans use, never an emailed invoice -- and the checklist tracks where the engagement stands.
Findings, report, and what to do next
The written report is delivered to you with the receipts export behind it, the checklist marks it done, and your dashboard keeps serving the data every figure came from. At the $4,500 band there is a live readout call and the balance falls due after it. The full engagement terms are provided during scoping, before you agree to anything.
Scope armour, stated up front: where a cost-per-resolution number is promised, your success event has to be wired into the gateway by day 5. If it is not, the deliverable is a cost-per-successful-request baseline plus the instrumentation plan to get the rest -- written into the scope, so it is never a surprise at delivery.
The fee credits toward an annual plan.
Within 60 days of delivery, 100% of what you paid for the assessment credits toward an annual subscription. If the findings convince you to keep the meter running, you have already paid for a good part of the year -- and if they do not, you keep the report and owe nothing further.
Want to see one before you buy one?
We are running the assessment on Recovea's own AI workload and publishing the result in full, findings and all. It is being written now.
The sample reportFounder-led by design.
No leverage model, no junior analysts. You work directly with the founder who built the meter, and no part of the work is subcontracted without your written consent.
What the findings are, and what they aren't.
- Measurements and models, not promises. Spend figures are measured against the meter's reference price list; savings opportunities are modeled estimates, net of quality assumptions stated in the report.
- No assessment figure ever reads "verified." Verification requires the evaluation gate, and the gate is not running: shadow mode is the next step, not the current one, and no verdict has been recorded anywhere. No engagement runs it, and no figure anywhere reads verified until it is real. Every savings number reads measured, proof pending.
- Not an audit, attestation, or financial advice. Recovea is not a CPA firm, and decisions made from the report are yours alone.
- The fee is never contingent on results, findings, savings, or anything else we might find. That neutrality is the whole point.
